Yesterday my girlfriend took me to her family land where a schoolhouse built in the late 1890s stands and I found that lone 1903 IHP. Not even a wheat was there! I was surprised but id definitely take an Indian over a wheat!
Found this merc today while looking for a lost engagement ring at a 1920s house here in Emporia. Found this 2 inches from where I found the ring. A good reward for the ring find I suppose. Wish I would have taken a picture of the ring return but it just kind of escaped my mind for the time being. They were extremely happy that I found it and I was too. Glad I brought the detector down to college with me!!
