I've been back to hunting the WWII gunnery training base - Buckingham Army Air Field - and found a couple buttons along with the usual bullets. The past couple weeks produced an undated buff. and a 1927 SLQ. Even after hunting it since 1998, it still produces goodies.

nice finds Tab - are those bullets .50 cal?

Yeah, I also find plenty of .30 and .45 pistol rounds...along with the usual bullets you find almost everywhere. There is no place within 20 miles of the base that you don't find those .50s. They sprayed them in every direction when they were training. lol.
