Probably a lead bag seal...maybe a bullet...leaning towards a lead seal...

Would help if you added a size and weight reference. Is it lead? The broken corner looks like pot metal.

I've got a supposed poker chip, or checker piece made out of lead, I found in a site where numerous other CW relic were found.
When I dug, I didn't have a clue what it was.

Here are some "poker" chips from a civil war reunion grounds I found
They may or may NOT have been used by actual CW soldiers, but its documented it WAS a CW reuniion grounds
This is some of the finds from that hunt but these chips appear to be a V nickle impressed into them
All 5 of the lead poker chips were on one hole, I gave one to the land owner....
