Default .813 silver?

I found this yesterday while out detecting and was curious as to what it is. The only mark on it is the "813" mark. It has the appearance of something that is silverplate but I know .813 silver exists. Thanks!

Looks to copper or brass... the 813 doesn't look like a hallmark, too big.

Yeah I was thinking that as well. It looks nothing like 813 marks that I have seen on google image search. Plus it's rather light for what I would think a piece of silver that size should weigh.

that's my first thoughts too, although it would be a rather small one considering the penny for reference. but they did come in a variety of sizes.
