Civil war bullet ?

Hello !

We uncovered this bullet in NEPA that we believe to be a fired civil war bullet. Does anyone have the expertise to possibly be able to confirm this for us ?

Don't think so. Those vertical markings in the grooves tell you it is definitely post civil war. Clean it up with a soft toothbrush and water and post more pics.

If your bullet has reeded cannelures, the little groves going around the bullet, like Gumba143's bullet than it's after 1877.
