After the big quake in 1906 people lived in tents at that park for months. I'm sure it's been detected A lot over the years, but I'm sure there has got to be A few goodies left. Go slow and good luck.

Good luck! GGP is a very challenging park to hunt. The silver and old coins are usually quite deep and the ground matrix is positively wicked.
Be careful if you venture into the spooky old woods section of the park.

Good luck in the park.
I have a tect'n buddy down there that said they were throwing detectorist out.
Some one was probably leaving a mess or holes open and P'd them off.
Anyway go low and slow.. there is still some good stuff there.
