Forum outages

Anyone else having problems getting to the forum every once in awhile lately? It usually lasts about 2-3 minutes for me. Just happened a few minutes ago....about 8:30 CST.

User CP trouble

Yes, I tried to change details on the User CP and it wont change.

It's just a traffic jam on the information superhighway. You'd be amazed at how many nodes (routers and computers) are between us an the web site. All it takes is for one of them to get bottlenecked and it can cause a momentary delay.

You may also get a delay when the forum is doing its back up... I believe Vlad told me it backs up the forum 6 times a day...

Very true, usually if its during the 00 hour or xx:30 thats probably it. I might have to scale down a bit on the frequency...

Yeah Vlad, can you get rid of the 12:30pm one, and the 6:30pm one.

Those two always get me right in the middle of making a post!
