Hi all
thinking of taking a trip to California after Christmas
cant seem to find any info on detecting on the beaches
as far as permits go, is it 'open house'??
 
It is mostly open house here in southern california. I dont know about up north. I cant think of any beach besides maybe malibu colony(movie stars homes) that may be a problem. There are beaches that just dont produce so try planning on popular area`s to hunt.

It's mostly "Open House" up here as well, except up near San Francisco in a Federally protected area.

im thinking i will probably try the beaches
between san Diego and Huntington beach, and see how for i get from there,
Just hope these arnt non producers.
 
That's right and I am officially campaigning for the head of the Metal Detector violation team.

Those in violation have to let me use their detector and give me their goodies. :lol:
