A question,,are your grey ghosts CTX specific??

yes these are gray gost 3030 that is what the paper work states
these where bought from a minelab dealer

GG headphones have horrible volume especially at the beach with the roar of the surf and wind. The ones without the volume control on them have a limiter switch in them that can be removed if you are good with soldering. When I had GG Headphones put on my Excal by Kellyco repair they asked me if I wanted the limiter switch removed. I said yes. I have nice volume with them. OBN is the one with the expertise on this subject.

GG Divers have a limiter in them, but if you remove the limiter the volume want work on the 3030s. The speaker on 3030 is AC circuit, not DC like on the Excals which it does work on by removing the limiter. The GG Amphibians are a better choice for the 3030...Minelab repair can but a 3030 connector on the Amphibians if you like......

If you gett the connector you can do the soldering on the GG Amphibians yourself. There are diagrams on how to make your own headphones and how to wire the connector so it will work.
