Had to go to the Kroger store to get birthday card and sum Tums.

Of course I always check Coinstar. About every other week I find something.

Mostly foreign coins and silver dimes or zinc pennies.

If it is to be silver, it is always a silver dime.

Why? do they weigh less or more than regular dimes?

Not complaining, just curious.

I wish I could borrow some of that coinstar technology and uploaded it to my Nox 800 to make it find silver dimes instead of nickels.

I check the Coinstar on my Tums runs too. Holiday heartburn is at its worst. I've never found silver in the reject try. Usually zinc pennies stuck together with a disgusting residue. I keep checkin' it though.

They weigh slightly more, not less, so the machine, for that size thinks its too heavy for a clad dime, so kicks it out!

I wonder who is always beating me to every coinstar in my area. I have found one clad dime and bits of dirt. My son picked up 33 pennies yesterday evening out of one that I hit frequently.
