Hot rocks & hot weather

With the weather being what it is here in vegas(HOT) I'm not getting out as much as I'd like without getting up way before the birds do. I did go out this morning and had little luck found a half a toe ring and more hot rocks then I have ever found in one day why do you think that is ??? :?:

P.S Thought you might like the sunset too.

Nice pics there,were having the same problem here in the UK,ground is just to hard and hot for detecting
