it has a channel to put out the sound from the MD to the head phone ,good sound no lag ,runs on 2 AAA and 2 AAs ,got at computer 2and hand shop/ recycle place , second one i have found , this one was 15.00 ,so when my built in battery wireless head phone's go 's out i have replacements
