Hi all!
Growing up in the 70's my Dad had a basic detector and I always enjoyed going out with him. In the 90's he bought one of the high end White's detectors that I used some. I picked up a used 5900 a while back and I just took it to the beach and it was dead(not battery related.) I am going to take it apart and see if I can get it going. If not, I may be in the market for a new detector
I live in an area of NC that has been populated for about 300 years and I have some access to potential good spots, so I am really looking forward to doing some hunting.
