Today I got one roll of quarters, one roll of dimes, and three rolls of pennies from my local bank. Here's what I got.

Quarter roll
SKUNK (except two state quarters my mom needed for her collection)

Dime roll
SKUNK

Penny roll #1
SKUNK

Penny roll #2
SKUNK

Penny roll #3
SKUNK (oldest was a 1964  )

But I got a bicenteninal quarter from my change at McDonalds, so it wasn't a total skunk.

Dont be discouraged- I find 1-2 wheatbacks per $5 of pennies. Thats 10 rolls. Dimes and Quarters are just plain HARD to find silver in now. You'd probably need several hundred dollars worth to find any silver coins. I got $20 in nickels last weekend, and $5 in pennies. I pulled a 1940-s, 2 1946, 1 1954-D, one 1958-D nickel, and one 1940 and a 1957-D penny. The week before i got no good nickels and 4 wheaties.

Remember, the more coins you look through, the more you find. Stick to the pennies and nickels unless you've got $500 to spend on rolled coins.

If you're looking for silver, go $30 in halves at a time (3 rolls)

wheats, try those $25 bags

nickles, $10 at a time (5 rolls)

Dimes and Quarters are nearly impossible :)

It's worked pretty well for me!
