I found this 3 ring bullet in a Maryland park today. Anybody know what type this is? I was hoping for a Civil War era bullet.

I think you have a civil war three ringer (Minie ball). The flat nose is probably from having the soldier ram it home too hard. It has been fired which could also lead to the flat nose.

It looks like a big one. Could be .69 cal. Nice find.
