Hit the wet sand for some early morning negative low tide hunting. Sadly lots of wet sand real estate with very little targets. managed to pull a SOG edc knife that is still in good shape, blade needs work though. After several aluminum blobs I gave up on the wet and decided to finish my hunt walking the towel line towards my exit point. A little clad here and there then surprise! a nice 7.9 gram 14k chief head ring 1 scoop down :D. Not a big fan of dry sand hunting, but I gotta say the towel line is always worth a check.

Thanks for looking, GL & HH!

Wow! Sweet golden save! I totally agree with your towel-line tactic. I don't spend any of that precious negative-tide time there, but it's always worth a check on the way back to the car! 'Tis the season of fresh drops, after all! Big congrats!

Two excellent finds and a nice clad haul. That's a fantastic hunt, there!

:dingding: You may now smokem peace pipe! :wow: I'm surprised it didn't weigh more.

WOW! I had a dream about finding that exact ring just 2 nights ago! I thought it would be me though...BEAUTIFUL! and yes...that SOG is another excellent find there if you can get it cleaned up and working...Great hunt!
