Newbie needs help posting pics!!

I tried to upload photo from PC, but it starts to upload then stops and reads "Upload of file failed". Seem like pretty straight forward upload very similar to e-bay, or others Ive loaded pics to. I'm new and might need to do something first, or get permission, I'm not sure. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Check the file size to be sure it's within the limit for the format it's in.

thanks, its a good walkthrough, but still fails on me, dont know why. When I tried it first time yesterday it directed me to the moderator and said I needed something, but I cant remember what it was now, I should have captured a shot of the screen. That was excellent tutorial though.

Got it figured out, needed to downsize just a hair, good to go, thanks again.
