button ID

this button Ive had for awhile now and noticed a similarity between it and the design for american digger magazine..I called AMD to inquire about it but the lady I talked to said she wasnt sure and would get back with me...the next day she called and said they have no idea where they got the design but look into my button but I never heard another word.
anyone have any idea as to what it is?

yeah I guess I didnt word my first post very well..or left some stuff out. the lady did say there logo was a play on the US great seal but didnt know what the logo was at the top{the circle with the stars} Ive looked a bit but cant get any definite answer as to what that signifies..I assume the 13 stars are for the 13 original colonies but why would part of the seal be in button form...I guess it seems to me that to put a single part of the seal in button form that part must signify something..why not just fit the whole seal into a button?
