Finally it happened to me. Walking through the woods this morning with temps in the teens freezing my but off. This place I thought was only inhabited in the 40s and 50s. I noticed a stone wall in the distance and began walking to it. I got a clean 90 91 vdi on the AT Pro and dug down 6 inches and I see the rim which I autographed and I don't care. The rim was big and shiny. Out pops my first seated coin and it's a half. I feel as though Christmas came early for me. The coin also has a counter stamp on its face. Thanks for looking and HH.

X2 That's a heck of a score right there. Santa must think you were are really good boy to be leaving behinds presents like that to find. Congrats.

Congrats. Only a few have been posted this year. Enjoy that one because you will probably never dig another. Counterstamp is awesome as well

That counterstamp makes that find 100x cooler!

Can you take a closer shot of the stamp so we can possibly ID it.

I've only found 1 counter stamped coin in over 4yrs detecting and it was a fatty indian head. That's a really clean stamp too.
