Looks more of a treasure chest latch from Oak Island ? how big is the lighter :laughing:

Does look like a pop top opener made or drilled to mount but I rarely guess right.

Looks like it was mounted on a piece of wood for sure. Maybe a leather strap came off of it at one point??

Still have no clue just trying to keep it alive so maybe someone will see it that does know. I've looked at all the bottle openers I can stand. I will say it will open Bud light bottles just fine.
