Every year during Dodge City Days our local news paper sponsors a Medallion Hunt. It's a buckle hidden somewhere around Dodge City and clues are posted in the paper daily. I'm looking for some input on one of the clues. I think it will mean something to some of you but to me I'm at a loss. Here are the clues so far.

Monday 7/21 clue:
Area has seen it's time is in decline

Tuesday 7/22 clue:
On the street to gold you will be forced to turn left or right

Wednesday 7/23 clue:
Next to something metal standing straight

Thursday 7/24 clue:
Green and yellow but often red

Friday 7/25 clue:
Just off the four lane you will find the pay line

I'm at a total loss as to what a "pay line" might be. Any ideas/suggestions?

Could be the entrance to a sports Field, drive in movie, any place you must stand in line to pay?
Take a drive down the four lane to see if any thing rings a bell

No toll booths in dodge.

The idea of a back or ATM sounds more likely. There is not many four lanes in dodge, but the ones we have pretty much go from one side of town to the other.

Thanks for the input It's given me some ideas. Keep'em coming

Clue#2 on the way to the prize their is a split in the road
Clue#3 a sign?
clue#4 street light.
Clue#5 like everyone else says it is probably an atm, movie's,could be alot of things. I would drive down the road. Hope you get it!!

Past the traffic signal is where the medallion Is?

What about an old military pay line? I don't know what they were called, but on payday everyone formed a line to get their money.

jackpot! an intersection off the highway which can be reached following the previous clues or for which all of the clues can be observed from.

cell tower

The metal standing, could even be a cell tower.
The area in decline could be the salebarn. I'll have to send this post to my sister, she lived in Garden City for years, and shopped in Dodge City. Good luck!

Doesn't N 2nd Avenue T at East Wyatt Earp. Isn't that in the older part of town. I believe there is a metal statue of a steer near there. Be sure to let us know how this thing turns out!

help too

I am from Florida but have relatives in Dodge. Every once in a while, they send me clues because i am good at this sort of thing. The last clue however, threw me for a loop. "It's not as easy as waving a wand and flushing out the medallion"

Can anyone make sense of this???

Saturday 7/26 clue:
Not as simple as waving a wand and flushing out the medallion

Monday 7/28 clue:
If you brush do not forget to rinse

Dentist?

Something being pressure washed and then painted, like a water tower? The dentist seems to obvious. You guys were in the news here for the heat and the festival. Glad to see you survived to post!
