A few bullets and military pin.

Went to a local beach a few days ago and found a few old bullets, a musket ball, 1940 nickel and this military pin. Do you guys know how old this pin could be and do you know anything about the rank?

Hi, your pin is a Marine Corps Lance Corpral chevron. That particular rank was instituted around 1957, but your pin is much newer.
