Had a great hunt yesterday. Found many silver quarters, dimes, buff and V's and my first silver dollar in 20 years of off and on hunting. I also found a nice ring, not sure of the metal yet, but it appears to be a womans ring, but thick with roses engraved on it, but has USN marked on it....Will post pics soon when cleaned...oh, and several tokens.
and the good news is I barely covered any ground, maybe 100 sq ft. I had hoped no one had ever hunted here and I think I'm right...This sure does make up for those long days of digging a few coins and junk..
