Found this the other day on a short hunt on my way home. Has the WWI eagle and not sure when the eagle with the sun stopped being used. I've never seen any like it and not a good bracelet being all brass,and I don't think it's military issue? Any idea? ....HH.... 401K

wow Scott! that thing is cool! the great seal was used during WWI & II and it looks military issue to me.that's so freakin cool!

My guess would be a WWII homefront/sweetheart bracelet that opens so you can put a photo of your soldier inside.

yeah i was thinkin that as well.maybe sold at the bases and bought by the women.regardless I never seen one like this and i like it!

It may have had a gold colored wash/paint at one time. Are there traces of it inside the band or in the photo frame area? Hard to tell from the photos. I collect military items and I have not seen one like this before that I recall. Cool find!

Thanks DF! It seems to be plated, definitely not painted. Not sure if it's WWI or WWII. ....HH.... 401K

Same seal is used today. Looks like a private purchase thing to me.
