I bought one of those Fiskars garden tools in Walmart about 4 years ago and in no time the darn thing was as dull as a butter knife and the tips were worn down. I'll take my "expensive" White's Digmaster any day. Nevertheless, thanks for offering the suggestion.

I have a Fiskars and didn't like the gap either. I had a friend on the forum weld it closed and now it works a lot better.

Thos 2 pics above look like my fiskars after a couple weeks as well. Thought about returning it since they are warrantied. Still on my shelf down the basement 3 years later.
