$200 to spend on the hobby, which should i get...?

Hey Gang!,

Well I have $200 to spend on detecting equipment, here's my choices..

A) Tesoro Compadre

B) SEF 10/12 or 12/15 coil for my GT

C) Garrett PP/Lesche Digger

Input and opinions very much appreciated!!

Well, If your happy with your current detector my pick would be C.

Go with the PPer... you have a good detector now and the 10x12 isn't going to be much better than your Tornado coil now...

for what my opinion is worth, I would get the PP and digger... SINCE you already have a good detector (i.e. from what I've heard about them) and apparently don't have a PP/digger in your arsenal. HH \_

Wow Thanks for all the quick replies guys! Well that settles it, looks like I'm going with C. I mainly hunt beaches but every once in a while I'll hunt a park when things are slow at the beach. Been using a modified Centech pp and a True Temper garden digger for park hunting with my GT and its been rough..

Slim I'm still cutting teeth on a bounty hunter and the first thing I went out and procured aside from batteries was a Propoint. Made life a heck of alot easier . That mated with your MD would be my route.

You won't be sorry buying the digger and pinpointer. You never will know how great using a pinpointer is until you use it.Then you will never want to hunt without it. Good Choice.
