Anderson shafts

Just bought an Anderson over under carbon fiber travel shaft for my Excaliber.
Anyone else using an over under shaft?
Do you have the controls mounted towards the inside or the outside?
Do you use a knob control guard?

I have a CF shaft for my excal. Never tried the over under. Always use a knob guard and tie off your headphone cable....

Over-Under, knobs pointing AWAY from my body, NO knob guard as I found the guard interfered with the knob operation when wearing my Neox gauntlet glove in cold water.

I had one, mounted it controls away from the body with a knob guard. I rarely fiddled with my controls during a hunt, pretty much turned it on, got the threshold right and went for hours.
