Hi, I was hoping to get some recomendations on detectors in the $200.00 range. I just purchased a "Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II" and have had very mixed results. Of course some of that may come from the fact that I'm brand new to the hobby. I still have several days in which to return it if I choose, but haven't made up my mind. I've noticed that many on the forum seem to own "Whites" brand. Are they superior for the price?
I'm interested in just about every type of hunting, but would really like to center on coins and jewelry. I would also love to get into relic hunting, but most of the historical areas in south Texas are tough.
