In a section of a plowed field, perhaps the tractor broke down.

Other than the 1918 King George Canadian largie, a couple of wheats 1914, 1920, maybe his dog 1933, kept him company. A Scovill lamp part and broken spoons could've meant he spent some time there.

My 2nd old dog license in about a week.

Congrats on more cool finds! It is fun to think about how some of our finds came to be where we found them. Spoons, I find them in such remote areas!

Dang, that's an old dog tag. The oldest I've found is in the 50s. I didn't even think they did dog tags that far back.

Nice finds. I also picked up a Canadian Large Cent yesterday.

Yours is older and a nice find.

The large cent is in nice shape. I also dug my first one earlier this year but I live in Canada. Much easier for me. Great job on the hunt!
