Help ID this thingamajig

I found this today while hunting at a boat launch. There are some picnic tables and an open area and decided to see what I could find. Along with $2.23 in clad I got this bad boy! Anybody know what it is?

Not having a size reference I will say that it is the knob to a shift stick of some kind.

Sorry about that. Here are a couple of pics with a size reference. I don't know if its silver, but my Teknetics Delta went nuts when the coil was over it. It was about 5-6 inches deep.

That's what it is...a "Cologne; Fragrances for personal use; Perfume" bottle top...
