places to search in south east michigan

Hi I'm new to metal detecting, I just got a ace 250 and I'm having a hard time finding places to search. I would love it if someone can point me in the right direction, for southeast Michigan. I just don't kno where to start. Thanks

So where are you from in south east michigan im going to get out and hit it as hard as i can this summer would love to have a buddy to do it with.
