It's good to find new spots. I got permission to hunt a spot that I've had my eye on for years. Well my buddy and I got permission to hunt this field. This is what I found. I dug the j hook right out of my truck. The grass was 6"-8" tall. I'm going back there in the winter.

Looks like you may have a site with great potential, once the grass is down to where you can swing a coil. Nice finds so far!

It's a big camp. It mostly under houses now but some of it is still huntable.

Sounds like a good spot. I've spent most of the last year hunting in people's yards in a spot quite like yours sounds.

My buddy found one that day. The grass was 10" high.
