Old Naval Button

Went out tonight for an hour tonight to try out a new NEL coil. I found this Naval Button at nine inches. Just wondering if anyone knows how old it might be ?

Also provide us with a picture of the back as well. I think you may have a back that is rusted. That button was frequently used as a civilian button. Notice the loop on the end of the anchor. It should have the stars running thru it, but yours falls a bit short.

Thanks for all the help with this button. Sorry It took so long to respond but my wife just had surgery to remove a tumor from the left side of her brain on the 28th. I will try to post a new picture soon. Thanks again
