Headed out to one of my favorite beaches today for a nice New Year's hunt. No gold or silver today, but still a very beautiful sunny So. Cal. day.
I did find a cool dog tag. My first thought was to throw it in with the rest of the junk items. On second thought, there was a name and telephone number on the tag, so I said what the heck, let me see if I can reach the owner. Sure enough BEAR's owner answered my call and the tag is back on its way to Vancouver, WA tomorrow morning. I know its only a dog tag, but for a 50 cent envelope and a buck or so in shipping it will save the guy 10 bucks buying a new tag.
By the way, that is about as ugly as a crapper ring can get
