Yes I am. The gentleman died in 2011 and I contacted the funeral home that handled his services and asked them to contact the next of kin to see if they want this back.
The privacy laws now are so restrictive so they couldn’t give me his info. About 5 months ago I was trying to return a POW-MIA bracelet from the Viet Nam War. 19 year old soldier killed his first day in ‘Nam. His body was identified but left behind and when they returned for him it was gone. What a nightmare. I contacted the VA, congressmen, news stations, other politicians and nobody could / would help. Had an idea they were in Indianapolis and started writing letters to anybody with the same name. Finally was called by his sister. It was returned just before Memorial Day.
