Found this on a property that is half garbage dump, half 1800s treasure site. Looks like an old decal of sorts to me but I'm not sure...

What does the other side look I like?

Is there room in the hole for a countersunk screw, it would be on the other side?

<°)))>{

I think that is about one third of the back plate of a drawer pull. The bail post goes through the hole.

Ice Scratcher : It looks the exact same on the other side.

modeltguy: Could be! The only thing that makes me suspicious of that is that this is a very thin bit of metal, however I suppose some drawer pulls might also be thin!

The back plate is often thin as it endures no stress and is purely ornamental. The "pull" is applied to the bail posts which go through the drawer front. I have dozens of those things left over from my furniture restoration days.
