Well I know this isn’t a whole lot to see but I’m happy with it. With a various assortment of bad shoulders, bad knees and a bad back, it has been about 2 years since I’ve been able to do any serious detecting. One of my friends is building a house in a very prime civil war area so I thought I would give it a try. I am also fairly positive that the area would have already been covered. Looks like I will have to go back, if we ever get enough rain to soften up the ground enough so it isn’t like digging concrete. Thought I had a nice little cuff button and it is, but just not civil war. Great Seal cuff button.

Nice job on the neat cuff button! What are the other two items?

Also, congrats on getting out to hunt again. I'll be praying for your health!

There is a piece of camp lead (perhaps the remains of a Minnie ball that was thrown into the fire), and a j hook.

And thank you for your nice thoughts!!

The J hook may leed to some more finds . I would for sure give it a few more hunts. Congrats on what you recovered so far from that spot.
