Nokta. Limited US service centers make me hesitant.

I have my eye on a Nokta Simplex. Reading through the manual I see that the battery is a "service center replacement only" item. I only see one service center listed

This makes me a little apprehensive being a new product. I'm sure there are going to be some bugs that have to get worked out.

Whites has a few Service centers too and I still have Whites MD. That did not stop me at all.
If there are bugs to be worked out having one Service center to ship would tell me they know how to fix bugs.

What is the problem?

I had to send my Teknetics T2 down to Texas for repairs so Nokta's service center in GA is good with me...

Few service centers??
How many does Minelab have in USA? Few
Or White’s?
Or Garrett?

All have few.

What you should be happy with is there is a service center for Nokta-Makro in USA.

Don’t let this drive you from buying detector. Just my opinion.
