Yesterday, while running some errands we stopped off at Walmart. So as always, I walk up to the Coinstar machine thinking maybe this time I will find my first Coinstar silver. As I get with a few feet I can see some coins sitting in the reject tray. Most of the time it's empty so I am always excited to get some clad. But when I reached in I felt something big. Pulled it out and saw a 1968-D 40% Slver Kennedy half dollar!:woot: I reached back in and pulled out an additional 48¢ in clad. It is a great feeling to get some free silver. :bouncy:

Happy hunting and God bless!

Two others this year

Never heard of anyone pulling a big silver coin like this out of a Coinstar....CongratZ!

Digger27... ya gotta keep up with the Coinstar news here on the forum my man. :?: Just a week or so ago, Ed (diggin4clad) got a 1964 Kennedy Half in a Coinstar, and several months ago, but still in 2018, I posted a 1964 Kennedy Half from a Coinstar.

It can and does happen. Things have been dry for me lately, although I got a 1982 10 Rappen from Switzerland, a beautiful coin. Their 10 Rappen has had the same design for over a hundred years.

Here's an example from 1897 - https://www.google.com/search?q=10+...h=990#imgrc=NlcY_f3YrLp-yM:&spf=1539397639050
