Was finally able to drop in and talk to the owner of a house circa 1880s that I've been eyeing for a few weeks. She allowed me to hunt as long as I could help her find her property markers (which I did).
I'll note that I'm still learning my ATPro since I upgraded a couple months ago, and IHs have eluded me with the new machine. Not any more! Pulled two from about 6 - 7", an 1889 and 1901 (#13-14 fty). Also scored a 1906 Barber dime (only my third, and silver #31). Nothing like digging some good targets to know what kind of tones I'm supposed to listen for. As an added bonus, the soil at this house wasn't too harsh on the IHs.
Only 4 "keepers" away from my goal of 50 in my rookie year of detecting.
Thanks for looking and HH.
