I agree... Im glad I live here where I carry 24/7 you never know when some low life will see you as a target of opportunity.

I have my lightweight pants with zip off legs to become shorts, sun screen, hat, MD, pin pointer, lesche, lots of water, a samich or other snackies, and a detector stand (aka the wife..) Dont tell her I said that... she beats me :lol:

I tried wearing knee pads and to me they were far more trouble than they were worth. I was constantly fighting to keep them in place. I threw them in the trash when I got home.

I use a gardeners pad about 18Lx6wx3/4" thick.

I replaced my knee pads with one of those - though I keep them around in case I work fields with stubble. The stubble will go right through those gardener pads.
