So I got out today for about an hour and a half to an old heavy hunted park, over the years I've been hitting on and off for 25 years. Pretty trashy so i tried a heavily discriminated pattern. Had a good sounding signal but was reading 28-38ish was 6-7 inches decided to dig and first thing was a nail, I thought to myself that can't be it, sounded to good. Checked the hole again and there it was at the bottom. So it appears the nail was actually above the 1859 Indian head. This is why I bought the etrac for situations like this. Thanks for looking

nice play-by-play. Great pix. I love the green patina on the IH !

While there are certainly machines that are better at iron-see-through (like 2-filter tesoros), yet the explorer series (II, etrac, etc...) can actually hold their own . CONSIDERING the power-house that they are.
