Found this little guy today

Nestled 9.5 inches down in the corner of the hole. On a dang football field!

The deus had a quiet yet repeatable "purr" very faint.. kept digging and out she popped purtty civil war bullet!

Now I suck at ID on these things but no rings no stamp on the bottom and no tip hole or push rod marking.. could be dropped 150 years ago..

Lordy this hobby is cool!
