Got my padlock cleaned up

Cleaned the padlock that I found at the Civil War site I have been working. Came out pretty good... wish I could find the chest that it locked... with the contents!

Like the way it turned out. The brass key insert really sets it off. Will be a nice display piece.

Nice. Just curious how you cleaned it. I have one that I might want to get done, but it's heavily rusted.

I ran it through electrolysis for a few days and then tumbled it in my rock tumbler.
