New member here from Central Iowa. I am new to the hobby and have been using an ACE 250 that I bought used. I have only been able to use it for a couple hours since I've owned it. I've always enjoyed being able to hold a piece of history in my hands and I think that's what led me to trying out metal detecting.
So far the only interesting thing I have found is this lid. It needs to be cleaned up still and I know it's not in good shape, but I still think it's neat. After looking online, I found out that it is the lid from an IODEX container sample.
Anyway, I'm glad I found this forum and I'm looking forward to learning more about the hobby.
