Well I sent in my Garrett Detector before Christmas and I got it back today! Pretty quick turn around since I found out they were closed from the 24th to the 2nd.
They called me about it and there was a problem with it. They found that a few parts on the board was bad and would not recalibrate and the cable connector was cracked.
A few new parts, a new cable connector and recalibrated and it's working better than before.
What gets me is it found things before but I did notice that it would sometimes detect something that was not even there or just start pinging when it wasn't even near anything.
Now I'm waiting for warmer weather and a day off to go and play! I have 4 acres that is virgin and the civil war was fought really close by. Just gotta watch out for snakes. *shiver*. LOL!!!
