It also looks heavy.

One of the reasons I like my 705 is the weight factor. Plus all six of my machines tip over. I now just lay them down. Gently.

3/4 cpvc pipe hardly any added weight at all

I bought one of these a couple years ago and it has worked on 3 different brand of detectors to this point. It doesn't stick out so far as to hit your leg while you swing.

If you use a section of 6" or 8" PVC pipe you can mak one split down the middle on one side and use a heat gun or maybe even a hair dryer to to shape it just right and it will stay in that shape.
