I finally detected my first 'Proper' Coin

I found my first proper coin. This coin was so proper it was British. It rang up on the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro with a British accent. I couldn't even understand what the machine was saying. Super stoked to find a great old silver coin.

Sadly your Sixpence ( commonly called a Tanner!) is only 50% silver. Silver content in our coins was reduced C.1920

Awesome find! My first silver was also foreign (1939 Canadian dollar). Silver is silver at any percentage, and it's 1000% better then clad!
