Protect that XP MI-6 (Pics)

When I got the MI-6 I wanted to find a way to protect my investment. After much searching, I found a gentleman who made tip covers for pinpointers. Since the MI-6 was so new nothing existed for it yet. It was important to me that whatever was used maintained the lines of the pointer and also offered the best protection when sticking it in the dirt. I was fortunate to be able to test these out and am happy to report that the fit is absolutely perfect!

$8 and free shipping which is a small amount to protect a $199 investment!

I'd run out of the pinpointer tip protectors, but a newly manufactured set is in.

Also, I've been working with my supplier, and I think I can get these manufactured in a RED material without compromising the quality of construction (colors, in fact, do alter materials properties, sometimes).

I'm trying to gauge if there'd be interest in a red cover (functionally, they'll be the same). I'll also post another thread.

Thoughts?

We'll see! I need a good month in field before I'd be confident.. (According to the materials data sheets, they will be, but I'd like some testing first.) I'll be running one, and you'll get some, too, like last time.
