I got back out to a permission I hunted last week. It’s a 1930’s house next to the road and the dude yard runs the whole length of the side walk so I concentrated up against the sidewalk and found 14 wheaties with one of those being a rusted 1943 steel penny that was in the hole with two other wheaties that’s the only way you can find them since they are nothing but a blob of rust and a newer Chinese coin but I’m not sure of the date of it. In the last two hunts I’ve found 28 wheaties and not one silver coin lol!! Ty for looking and HH!

You gotta be finding some key date wheats in all that. Your soil is awful hard on them !!
( I found a lone wheat again today, but it coulda just been lost by the looks of it)

Ive found over 2,000 wheaties since 2013 and I’ve found a few 1909 VDB’s but never a 1914 or 1914 D
